For this project we were introduced to Brand Ac tivation and were split into groups with various campuses involved. Our client was called Masicorp who wanted to get exposure to their brand.

Masicorp needs to ensure that all their social media platforms communicate the same message. An integrated marketing campaign ensures all channels promote a consistent message that help people to gain a more cohesive and clear understanding of the company and their goals. With a clear marketing message such as “we are better together” consumers understand Masicorp’s goals and a relationship of trust is built.This is essential as v​ague, unclear and nonspecific messages come across as untrustworthy. Masicorp needs to make sure that all their social media platforms, their email, newsletters and website are all consistently delivering the same message. This will help create brand awareness and appeal to different businesses and consumers which may lead to partnerships being made.

Partnering up with local brands is a highly successful way of creating awareness for Masicorp. This can be done by partnering up with local grocery stores or clothing stores ,both if possible to maximize awareness and potential donations. Masicorp would needto approach local brands such as Pick n Pay, Checkers and possibly Cotton on. By doing this they will be able to create a greater awareness for the brand. Masicorp could also negotiate using bags that people in the community have made being offered ass hopping bags at both grocery stores and clothing stores, and the money brought infrom the sale of the bags will be used to continue to improve the community of Masiphumelele. The bags will be made by the people who attend the sewing course.This will also provide diversity in what the students of the course learn to make, tote bags are also quite simple and inexpensive to make.
